This weekend was the artist lock in and EYE LEVEL ART, where all 25 artists, including myself, were locked in at 7 pm on Friday night until 3pm the next day. Everyone work very hard throughout the nigh/morning, and I was thoroughly pleased with all the work on display. It was a great experience to be working next to all these artists and getting to know some people, and overall having accomplished something together. The night of the opening, Saturday the 19th, when all the artists had left and the work was hung, the turn out was tremendous and drew a large crowd that stayed consistent throughout the night. Though I must say I was very exhausted throughout the night while working, and into the next day, the work accomplished was well worth it. Collectively I left the lock in having made five pieces—two on canvas, and three on paper.
